Local Information

Plymouth has a wealth of local attractions, none more so than the historic Barbican area with its cobbled streets and quaint shops. There are a wide variety of restaurants, many of which serve locally caught fresh fish, most of which have been sampled by ourselves. Just ask for recommendations, we will be happy to advise.

We are situated within easy reach of Plymouth City Centre, the Yachting Marina, National Marine Aquarium, University of Plymouth, Theatre Royal, Plymouth Pavilions and only yards from Brittany Ferries. The Railway and Coach Stations are also nearby.

Take in the spectacular views from The Hoe, of Plymouth Sound and Drake's Island, or catch the water taxi from the Barbican to the Mountbatten peninsula, offering a scenic public house, a water sports centre and links to the South West coastal footpath.

Dartmoor National Park	Coastline near Wembury

With only a 20 minute drive inland, you will discover the beauty of Dartmoor National Park, a must for those wishing to roam through the peaceful moorland. Alternatively, take a short drive along the coast and you will find the most picturesque coastlines anywhere in England. The Eden Project is only 45 minutes by car.
